Privacy
Your documents stay private
Unpublished articles, theses and research notes are sensitive. This page describes what the beta actually does — no more, no less.
Rules
What happens to uploads
- Documents, reports and claims are stored in your workspace only. Every request checks that the object belongs to your workspace.
- They never enter public pages, the public API, datasets, embeds or partner samples.
- Text from your documents is not sent to external services in this beta: checks run against stored public data on our server. No LLM is called in the demo configuration.
- You can delete a document at any time; this removes its versions, reports, claims and jobs from the database.
- Guest workspaces expire after 7 days.
- Sessions use an httpOnly cookie; only a hash of the session token is stored. Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes.
- No analytics or advertising trackers are loaded.
Backups and log retention of a future hosted deployment will be documented here before launch; the local beta keeps data only in its own database folder.
